Additional Terms and Conditions to First State Secure Client Portal

In addition to the general terms and conditions governing your access to this website (which is accessible by clicking here), the following terms and conditions will also apply to First State Secure Client Portal and your access to this portal:

1. First State Secure Client Portal is a secure section of the website that provides online access to certain information relating to your investments which may include without limitation valuations and quarterly reports. Unaudited information which has not been reconciled, reviewed or finalised by First State may also be available. Any unaudited information provided is by way of information only. First State cannot guarantee the accuracy of, and shall not accept liability for, any reliance placed upon the unaudited information or any unaudited or audited data which is able to be downloaded and manipulated by you. First State does not take responsibility for the data or how this data may be displayed on your computer.
2. You shall assume responsibility for ensuring that your username and password are kept secure and secret at all times and not disclose these to anybody else. Your username and password should be reserved for your use only. First State does not accept liability for any unauthorised access to your account via First State Secure Client Portal, or for any use or misuse of any information by any person authorised to have access to your account via this portal. You, or any person authorised by you to have access to your account, shall notify First State in the event that you or they no longer require access to the First State Secure Client Portal. If you or they know, or suspect, that someone else has obtained the username or password to your account or accessed your account without authorisation, please contact First State at fsiweb@firststate.co.uk immediately.
3. The information provided on First State Secure Client Portal must not be distributed, published, revealed or reproduced, in whole or in part, nor should it be disclosed by you to any person other than another person to whom you have specifically authorised to access your account for the sole purpose of administering or advising you on your investment with First State. To the extent you authorise another person to access your account, you must ensure that they keep the information confidential consistent with this clause.
4. First State may stop or suspend access to the First State Secure Client Portal if it reasonably considers it necessary, including without limitation because it suspects that there may be unauthorised access.
5. The information provided on First State Secure Client Portal is provided for information only and does not constitute, and should not be construed as, investment advice or a recommendation to buy, sell or otherwise transact in any investment fund operated or managed by First State or its affiliates.
6. No warranty is given that the contents of First State Secure Client Portal are compatible with all computer systems or browsers or that this website shall be available on an uninterrupted basis. First State does not accept any liability for any damages or losses arising from changes or alterations made to this website by unauthorised third parties.
   
   The internet is not a completely reliable transmission medium and neither First State nor any of its affiliates accept any liability for any data transmission errors such as data loss or damage or alteration of any kind or for the security or confidentiality of information transmitted across the internet to or from First State or any of its affiliates. Any such transmission of information is entirely at your own risk and any material downloaded from this website is downloaded at your own risk.
